About the workshop:

Prepare yourself for labor!

Honor yourself and your pregnancy by taking care of yourself. Pre-natal yoga is a great tool to use to support you during the changes that pregnancy brings. Whether it is physical aches and pains, hormonal changes, or fears of labor/the unknown.

You will feel better emotionally, physically and mentally as you get physically prepare your body for labor, identify and let go of emotional blocks AND you will connect with other pregnant mamas. It’s always great to hear other women’s stories and experiences because it reminds us we are not alone!

About the Teacher:

Taught by Lesley Gilbert, Pregnancy & Postpartum Health Coach (certified yoga instructor and women’s health herbalist).  As a mother of two, you’ll get real talk about pregnancy and labor. Lesley creates a safe and inclusive atmosphere where women can openly share how they are feeling and what they are experiencing.


“I took Lesley’s prenatal yoga class when I was pregnant with my second daughter. I had just had a tough move from out of state and was at a difficult spot in my pregnancy. I had finally been cleared for some gentle exercise and I quickly found a yoga class. Lesley’s class was just what I needed. I tried her tea at the end of every class and was always pleasantly surprised (I’m not a big fan of pregnancy teas and was surprised when I honestly liked hers). Lesley also would use herbs and aromatherapy at the end of class and I always enjoyed this part. She always seemed to accurately measure the mood of the room and just what we all needed. She truly is a barometer of pregnant mamas!

Finally, she was an amazing resource. She was quick and ready to share tips, resources, groups, and anything else that would help mamas with their journey.

 Yin Yoga

About the workshop :

Yin yoga is a calming balance to our active yang yoga practice. Asanas are held for a few minutes, gently stretching connective tissues and fascia. This also stimulates energy flow in the meridians of the body, creating deep peace and relaxation as it eases the effects of stress and anxiety. This workshop also includes the use of weighted bags for deeper relaxation, meditation, and a handout. Add some yin to your yang!
