IMG_2083Robin Beals CMT, Colorado RMT (Robin is not accepting new clients)

Let me introduce myself. I am a Certified Massage Therapist, and a 2003 graduate of the Healing Spirits School of Massage located in Boulder, Colorado. I moved to Cañon City for the outdoor activities and the quiet town atmosphere. I love the mountains and the locally available outdoor activities. I am the co-owner of River Lotus yoga, a singer and a lover of music, as well as a soccer player and fan. As a therapist I work hard to have a caring and honest relationship with all of my clients. I think that the key to great massage is connection, without that it is just fluff.  I have had years of hands on experience, so I feel confident that I can lend a hand to your healing process.

picJJ Johns CMT, Colorado RMT, NMRT

JJ is a graduate of the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, CO. He is licensed by the State of Colorado and a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). JJ believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being. JJ’s style provides deep relaxation as well as treatment-oriented work by incorporating sports massage, trigger-point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, Swedish massage, and deep tissue work. His touch is highly intuitive, and each massage is tailored to meet his client’s needs.  In addition to massage, JJ enjoys playing soccer, cycling, and spending time with his family.

Kristie Nakasato, LAc, Dipl OM, FABORM

Kristie is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado, and is nationally certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, with a specialty board certification in reproductive health.  She graduated with a master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA in 2012 after completing more than 3200 hours of comprehensive academic and clinical education.

Kristie has advanced training in pain management and infertility.   She treats a wide variety of conditions including prevention and “tune ups,” the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, pain management, emotional balancing, menopausal symptoms, and headaches. Kristie finds many acupuncture styles and therapies to be beneficial, but what she enjoys and finds most helpful for patients she treats is to combine traditional Chinese medicine with Japanese palpation techniques.

Kristie was first introduced to acupuncture in 2004 as an intern under Dr. Angela Wu of San Francisco.  She was amazed by the transformation of the patients in the clinic as well as her own after receiving treatments.  In her personal life, Kristie meditates, jogs, practices yoga and Qi gong, and spends time with her husband and daughter.
